This old Plymouth is a great highway
cruiser. The engine is a 1963 M-code 327 Vette, mild cam, weiand hi-rise with a
Q-jet carb hooked to a 1500 rpm stall converter, turbo 350 and a 10 bolt posi.
The front suspension is mustang two with power r&p steering and power disc
brakes. Creature comforts include a GM tilt column, power windows and air
conditioning (no cruise control yet).
The car was built in the early 80's and as such was restorodded , just my
style. A friend found the car sitting in a driveway, with a 37 Ford Two Door and
a 40 Chevy coupe for company. It took a couple of years before we were able to
talk the owners into selling the Ford (my friends ride) and this Plymouth. I
have since painted it Brockway truck gray and taken care of the little things
that go wrong with a car that has not been driven for a while.
